Delete your data

You can ask 3Dhive to delete your account and the information connected to it at any time, whether you signed in with Google, Apple or Facebook. This page explains how, what is deleted, and how long it takes. For everything we collect, see our Privacy Policy.

What we delete

• Your 3Dhive account and the sign-in identity from Google, Apple or Facebook linked to it: your name, email address, provider account ID and any profile picture link.
• Your account settings: your account type (buyer or seller) and your analytics preference.
• Your saved workspace:
  • your cart, saved items and test checkout records, including uploaded models and personalized design text;
  • favorites and settings;
  • chat threads, channels and contact names, and your Support chat;
  • your command history and assistant conversation.
• Your seller shop details: printers, materials, filament spools and colors, costs, alerts, listing drafts, ad settings, printer panel addresses and shop page settings.
• Any administrator access you were given.
• Your model generation records, if any remain on our server, and the support emails you sent us, unless the law requires us to keep them.
• Copies of your sign-in security logs kept in our account database.

What we may keep

• Records the law requires. We keep information only where the law requires us to, and only for as long as it requires. Information you shared through Facebook Login is deleted unless the law requires us to keep it.
• Administrator access records. If you were an administrator, the record that access was granted or removed is kept as a security log. It contains account IDs, the date, who made the change and any note written at the time. We remove your name or email address from those notes.
• Provider records. Some copies are held by our providers and removed on their schedules:
  • request logs, kept by Cloudflare and Render for no more than 30 days;
  • sign-in security logs, kept by Supabase for its log retention period;
  • provider copies of assistant or image-review requests under OpenAI’s retention rules, generally up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, with legal and safety exceptions;
  • local SAM3D working images, masks and generated models on the computer running that service; these are separate from your hosted account.
• Requests your browser sends to other companies. Some content loads directly from other companies, such as maps and place searches from Mapbox, videos from YouTube and elevation data for terrain models from Amazon Web Services. Those requests are handled under each company’s own privacy policy. They never reach us, so we cannot delete them.
• 3D model descriptions and designs at Zoo. Descriptions you sent for 3D model generation, and the model designs sent to or created by Zoo, may remain in the records of our model provider, Zoo, under 3Dhive’s account. They are not linked to your name or email, and we ask Zoo to delete them where Zoo allows it.

Deleting your 3Dhive account does not delete your Google, Apple or Facebook account, and 3Dhive may still appear in that provider’s list of connected apps. Remove it there too (see below).

What you can delete yourself

• Individual items. Remove items from your cart, favorites and seller shop in the service. Your saved workspace is updated automatically.
• Sign out. Choose Sign out in your profile menu to remove the sign-in cookie from this browser, or Sign out everywhere in Account & settings to end your sessions on all your devices.
• Browser data. A few things are kept only in your browser: your header banner choice, Seller page view options, changes you make to the example seller shop, and the free model generation cookie. To remove them, open your browser’s privacy or site settings, find this site and clear its cookies and site data. This also signs you out of 3Dhive on that browser. When you are signed in, your other settings are saved to your account and are deleted with it.
• Location. Remove 3Dhive’s location permission in your browser’s site settings.
• Printer connection. A connected printer is stored only in the 3Dhive app on your computer. Choose Disconnect printer in its printer panel to remove the printer’s address, your camera choices and its print records from that computer.

If you never created an account, we have no account for you. We may still hold a few records. There may be the start time of each free guest model generation used in your browser, linked only to a random ID in the hive_zoo_guest cookie. There may be your model descriptions, the generated model files and their design code, kept for about an hour. There may also be any support messages you sent us. Clearing this site’s data removes what is stored in your browser, but not these records. To have your support messages deleted, email jcjurevis@gmail.com from the address you wrote from.

Remove 3Dhive from your sign-in provider

Removing 3Dhive in your provider account withdraws the permission you gave us. You can still sign in again later by granting it again. Removing 3Dhive there does not sign you out of 3Dhive or delete the data we already hold. To sign out everywhere, use Sign out everywhere in Account & settings. To delete your data, email us as described above.

• Facebook: open Apps and websites in your Facebook settings, select 3Dhive and remove it.
• Google: open Linked apps in your Google Account, choose Sign in with Google, select 3Dhive, then choose Stop using Sign in with Google.
• Apple: on an iPhone, iPad or Mac, or at account.apple.com, open your Apple Account’s Sign in with Apple settings, select 3Dhive and choose Delete. This stops using Sign in with Apple for 3Dhive; it does not delete your Apple Account. Apple explains the steps in Manage your apps with Sign in with Apple.
